Requirement

  4. A statement of purpose not exceeding 1000 words.

Language proficiency tests such as TOEFL or IELTS are optional. All accepted candidates must provide authentic academic documents before matriculation.

Structure

During the Bachelor’s studies at EPFL, civil engineering students receive training in basic sciences spread over three years. The curriculum covers statics, geology, structures, materials, soil and fluid mechanics, hydraulics, and transportation. The program culminates in a project that applies and synthesizes the acquired knowledge.

Language: Some courses are taught in English and some in French.

CHF 0.- if you hold a Bachelor’s degree delivered by EPFL or ETH Zürich (or if you hold a Bachelor’s degree delivered by UNIL and are applying for the Master’s program in Sustainable Management and Technology)


*The fee is not refunded in case of non-validation or withdrawal of the application.

*The application form must be validated and paid for on March 31st at the latest. Application after that deadline is not possible.

*Although tuition fees are reasonable at EPFL, the cost of living is high in Switzerland. It is important to establish a budget for the entire duration of your studies: plan for approximately 30'000.- CHF per year to cover your expenses.
