Requirement

  1. Italian secondary school leaving qualification or other comparable foreign qualification (level 4 EQF)
  2. The knowledge required for admission is checked by means of a test common to all the Design courses offered by the University (TOLD).

Structure

Design Studies courses at Politecnico di Milano provide theoretical, academic, and professional training for designers, focusing on industrial product design, production, and promotion. The program responds to training demands from various industries and sectors, including consumer product, communication, and interior design companies.

The courses are structured into two different laurea programs: the level I laurea and the Laurea Magistrale. The Laurea program trains design technicians, while the Laurea Magistrale program focuses on graduates capable of managing design activities and identifying strategic ends.
