Psychological Counselling and Guidance at FIU
The Psychological Counselling and Guidance program at FIU aims to provide students with the knowledge and skills required to become qualified counselors. Graduates will be equipped to work in various sectors, including education, health, social services, and industrial institutions.

Requirement
- Students possessing TRNC citizenship, Turkish citizenship, and International students (Turkish language proficiency is required for international students).
- A copy of your High School Diploma (O LEVEL & A LEVEL) e.g (WAEC, NECO, SAT, KCSE, ZIMSEC, GCE)
- A copy of your International passport Bio-data page.
- A copy of your recent Passport Photo.
- A valid copy of your Result Checker Card.
- All applicants for undergraduate degree courses must possess a minimum qualification of five (5) credits, in the Senior Secondary School Certificate (WAEC, NECO, SAT, KCSE, ZIMSEC, GCE).
Structure
The program duration is 4 years and is offered on a full-time basis. Students will engage in theoretical knowledge, practical training, and research skills related to guidance and psychological counseling. The curriculum covers various topics such as the structure and function of the education system, counseling services, interdisciplinary connections, and cultural sensitivity.
Fees
* Fees include scholarship, registration, social activity, and all taxes.
* The Student Permit fee of approx. USD $100, which also includes Annual Health Insurance, is payable directly to the TRNC Ministry of Health.
