About the Department
The department of Chemical Engineering offers four full-time MSc courses and our highly international community comprises around 110 talented master’s students each year. These degrees allow students to explore advanced topics in chemical engineering and give them a unique opportunity to be involved in state-of-the-art research.
Throughout the MSc degree students will be supervised by one or more members of the department's distinguished, interdisciplinary research staff, some of whom are based in alternative departments or our partnership institute in Tokyo, Japan.
Program Overview
Advance your knowledge of the science and engineering of biological processes on this Master's course.
You'll build expertise in a range of biotechnology concepts, and explore aspects of metabolic engineering, tissue engineering, and wastewater treatment.
This varied program will also broaden your understanding of basic sciences, mathematics, and computing techniques.
You'll learn through a mixture of taught modules and a research project. Your project can be carried out at Imperial, within the industry, or at an approved institution.
Requirement
Applicants must possess a bachelor's degree with CGPA > 2.50/4.00 OR 3.0-3.5/5.00
