Program Overview
Examine how statistical ideas, tools and methods are used in almost all employment sectors on this Master's course.
You'll receive outstanding training in both theoretical and applied statistics and explore the use of statistics in sectors including banking and finance, government and medical research
This programme will also develop your appreciation of probability theory, statistical inference and applied and computational statistics.
You'll apply your knowledge from the course on an extensive research project, carried out in conjunction with a member of academic staff.
This is the general stream of the MSc Statistics course at Imperial. You may alternatively wish to consider our specialist streams in Applied Statistics. Biostatistics, Data Science, Statistical Finance, or Theory and Methods.
Requirement
Applicants must possess a bachelor's degree with CGPA > 2.50/4.00 OR 3.0-3.5/5.00
