Nursing

The Nursing Program aims to train nurses who care for the individual, family, and society individually or in cooperation with others in the case of illness and health in all environmental conditions; improve and protect their health; care for the patients and disabled; provide and advocate safe environmental conditions; do research; develop health policies; participate in the management of health systems and conduct training.

Our mission is to train competent professionals in the field who are equipped with the necessary knowledge and skills; who adopt interdisciplinary cooperation and teamwork and try to spread it; know, follow and use science-technology in order to improve the health and quality of life of the society; observe ethical responsibility in health at national and international levels; think critically; and are capable of original research and respectful to humanitarian values ​​at national and universal levels.

Our vision is to be a respected, innovative, and pioneering faculty that conducts original scientific studies in its field, is recognized in national and international platforms, has competence in health sciences education and training in the world, and has a say in the development of plans and policies related to public health.

Our graduates can work as nurses in all healthcare institutions, both preventive healthcare institutions and curative healthcare institutions.

Graduates who decide to progress academically can be appointed as academic staff. They can be employed as the academic staff of Nursing Faculties, Nursing Schools, Health Sciences Faculties, and Health Schools.

Graduates may work in decision-making and planning areas such as the Ministry of Health, Health Directorates, as well as in the pharmaceutical industry.
