Description

The Hoiva assistant assists clients of different ages and backgrounds in daily activities, such as washing and dressing, eating, communicating, moving and being outdoors.

In the education, two degree parts of the basic degree in social and health care are completed:

- Promoting growth and inclusion

- Promoting the inclusion of the elderly.

The start date of the studies is agreed upon personally.

The degree has requirements related to functional capacity and health status. Health requirements ensure that the student is able to study the field at the educational institution and workplace in terms of health and functioning.

The student's state of health or ability to function must not endanger the safety of customers, patients, employees or other students.

Already at the application stage, it is worth checking whether there are any requirements in the education that could be an obstacle to choosing to become a student or completing a degree. If necessary, you should talk to a health nurse, doctor or Riveria student care staff.

It is in the applicant's interest that he is not selected for such an education where he would not be able to study or work at the workplace due to his health condition or functional ability.

If the applicant has had a history of drug addiction, we recommend at least two years of abstinence before applying for studies in the field.

As a general rule, we do not choose applicants who are in compensation care to study social and health care. The applicant must inform about compensation treatment already at the time of application, so that an individual situational assessment of suitability can be made.
