This degree programme provides a thorough training in the main branches of chemistry and also concentrates on the study of areas of medicinal chemistry and pharmacology most relevant to carrying out research with medicinal and other biologically active compounds.

Chemistry with Medicinal Chemistry can also be taken as an MSci degree which includes an additional work placement year in the UK or overseas, between the third and final years of the degree.
Requirement
WAEC Senior School Certificate
The University will consider students who gained all As and Bs in WAEC Senior School Certificate for direct entry into year 1. Students who have taken a recognised foundation or access programme or equivalent will also be considered.

All applicants for undergraduate degree courses must possess a minimum qualification of five (5) credits, in the Senior Secondary School Certificate (WAEC, NECO, SAT, KCSE, ZIMSEC, GCE).
