In view of current developments, the Space Engineering program at TU Berlin explores challenges of great relevance to society, such as the issue of a clean space as well as space debris and its reduction and elimination. The program teaches applied specialist knowledge in the area of space engineering, covering topics like space system design, space mission planning and operations, space robotics, and satellite technology.

Requirement
- The formal requirement for admission to the Space Engineering master’s program at TU Berlin is a first university degree qualifying you for professional work and for the master’s program, at least bachelor’s equivalent. Decisions concerning applicants’ qualifications in terms of the subject content of their first degree rest with the examination committee.

Structure
The Space Engineering program at TU Berlin has a standard period of study of four semesters for full-time students, with flexibility in the number of courses taken per semester. The program is modular, consisting of core technical knowledge modules, elective modules, and a master’s thesis. Students are required to obtain a total of 120 credits, with 90 from course requirements and examinations, and 30 from the master’s thesis.
Fees
- Full programme tuition for two years of study for the April 2024 intake is €24,900. You can choose to pay for the Master’s programme in one instalment or you can spread the payments with four instalments (first instalment – €9,960; three instalments – €4,980 each).
- In addition to the tuition fee, students have to pay an organisation fee of €114.04 per semester.
- Apart from the tuition and organisation fees, you will need approximately €867.00 per month to cover your living expenses in Berlin.
