Description
The initiative to organize the Master in prosthetic restorations with implant support was based on several aspects:
-oral implantology has today become a basic specialty of modern dental medicine;
- the realization of prosthetic restorations with implant support is an important phase of the rehabilitation of patients who benefit from dental treatment with implants;
- the best results in implant-prosthetic treatment are obtained where oro-dental surgery is accompanied and complemented by a good theoretical and practical knowledge of prosthetics on implants;
- offering graduates of the Faculty of Dental Medicine / Dentistry the opportunity to deepen and implement in their own offices the modern techniques of implanto-prosthetic rehabilitation, etc.
Requirement
· Be a Romanian citizen or one of the EU or EEA member states;
· to have graduated from a form of higher education with a bachelor's degree with a specific master's profile.
Structure
The master's program in RPSI promotes the idea of obtaining, throughout life, skills complementary to the initial training. The specific objective of the master's degree in Prosthetic Restorations with implant support consists in the formation and development of complementary competencies to the initial medical training of the students, in order to improve the efficiency of health services, in conditions of high quality of the medical act or the research activity. The program is addressed to students with initial training in the medical field, graduates of dental medicine/stomatology. The main objectives of the program are:
- obtaining general and specialized knowledge, the master's students being familiar with the latest knowledge in fields such as: anatomy and physiology of the oral cavity, occlusology, biomaterials, oral implantology, prosthetics;
- identification of patients whose general condition and endooral status allow them to benefit from implanto-prosthetic treatment;
- acquiring and perfecting the latest surgical techniques for preparing the bone support, in order to insert dental implants;
- the training of graduates for doctoral studies, a condition that becomes mandatory with the application in Romanian education of the principles of organization of higher education in the European Union, etc.
Fees
The tuition fee is 4800 RON / year and can be paid in two installments, in the first 10 days of the semesters.
