Learn the skills you need for a successful career in Architectural Technology. Our degree apprenticeship complies with academic requirements to become a member of the Chartered Institute of Architectural Technologists (CIAT).
The Architectural Technology degree brings together all aspects of the design process, from concept through to completion, to develop key problem-solving skills which are ideal for employability.
The course focuses on the making of detailed decisions about the design and construction of buildings and their immediate surroundings. It looks at both new and existing buildings.
You will be taught by highly experienced members of staff who are qualified architectural technologist and architects, BIM experts and tutors who practice in architecture offices. The staff team also has significant combined experience in the teaching of architectural technology.

BTEC Diploma: Distinction, Distinction
Pass Access Course: 96 UCAS Points
International Baccalaureate: Pass Diploma with 96 UCAS points from Higher Level Subjects
GCSE: 5 at grade C/4 including Maths & English or equivalent
We operate a flexible admissions policy and treat everyone as an individual. This means that we will take into consideration your educational achievements and predicted grades (where applicable) together with your application, including work experience and personal statement
Equivalent qualifications are welcome including UCLan’s foundation courses
Applicants who do not satisfy the standard minimum entry requirements can be admitted, subject to interview, on the basis of equivalent prior experience or learning
Applications will be considered for advanced entry to Level 5 (Year 2 full-time and Year 3 part-time in the UK) where students have completed an HNC/D or Foundation Degree in Construction or similar
Exceptionally, candidates who do not satisfy the requirement of the above may be admitted to the programme at the discretion of the School of Engineering, subject to interview and assessment of commitment. Applicants may be invited to attend an interview to determine their ability, experience, commitment and potential to benefit from the course of study

All applicants for undergraduate degree courses must possess a minimum qualification of five (5) credits, in the Senior Secondary School Certificate (WAEC, NECO, SAT, KCSE, ZIMSEC, GCE).
