About the Department

When studying Fundamentals of Architecture, one must show a vocation to assimilate and deepen spatial relationships, knowledge of Mathematics and Physics, capacity for analysis, observation, and research, and inclination for training in technical aspects and industrial processes.

In addition, it is important for the Degree in Fundamentals of Architecture to have the capacity for teamwork, predisposition to acquire advanced knowledge of Geometry and Representation Systems, knowledge of Art History and interest in the appreciation of aesthetic criteria, knowledge of Graphic Language and willingness to turn this means of expression into the main vehicle for the transfer of information and acceptance of the necessary continuity of training and updating of advances in the sector and it is valued to have effort, experience and innovation as pillars, as paths of learning.
