Description
The Environmental Governance and Adaptation to Climate Change (EGACC) program at the University of Tartu and Estonian University of Life Sciences equips students with the knowledge and skills to address global environmental challenges. Learn to formulate and implement environmental policies at an international level, considering climate change and the European Green Deal.
Career Opportunities:
Graduates of the EGACC program can pursue careers in government, industry, EU bodies, NGOs, international organizations like the World Bank and the OECD, or as entrepreneurs. Further studies at the doctoral level or academic careers are also viable options.

Structure
- I semester: European Union Green Deal, Environmental Management and Policy, Pollutants in Environment and Ecotoxicology, Atmospheric and Climate Sciences, Material Cycles and Energy Flows. Plus one course from Environmental Goods and Services, Blue-Green Infrastructures, or Mineral Resources of Future and Mining Technologies.
- II semester: Waste Management and Circular Economy, Intro to Environmental Legislation, Participation and Environmental Governance, Research Methodology, Environmental Goods and Services, Introduction to Ecotechnology. Specialization courses in climate, atmospheric processes, remote sensing, ecotechnology, water management, and circular economy.
- III semester: Practical Training in Environmental Monitoring and Sampling, Applied Fluid Mechanics. Specialization courses in climate, atmospheric processes, remote sensing, ecotechnology, water management, and circular economy.
- IV semester: Master's Thesis
