Description
The Degree in Humanities assumes the human being as a field of study in its multiple facets: intellectual, historical, philosophical, sociocultural and artistic. Its main general objectives are the following:
To provide graduates with a multi-disciplinary and polyvalent humanistic education with a broad methodological basis, which will equip students to manage, disseminate and transmit culture in general and will facilitate entry into qualified posts in a range of professional environments.
To produce versatile graduates who are experts in inter-disciplinary relationships, capable of understanding different cultural languages, particularly prepared to participate in an increasingly complex informational and cultural world, and permanently motivated to assimilate knowledge from heterogeneous sources.
To produce teachers capable of transmitting to our society cultural awareness and a desire to learn about, understand and respect the human cultural universe.
Requirement
A copy of your High School Diploma (O LEVEL & A LEVEL) e.g (WAEC, NECO, SAT, KCSE, ZIMSEC, GCE)
A copy of your International passport Bio-data page.
A copy of your recent Passport Photo.
A valid copy of your Result Checker Card.
All applicants for undergraduate degree courses must possess a minimum qualification of five (5) credits, in the Senior Secondary School Certificate (WAEC, NECO, SAT, KCSE, ZIMSEC, GCE).
New students should have a basic grounding in the Social and Human Sciences, together with good skills in logical reasoning.
