Description
The Master's program in Applied Mathematics focuses on developing advanced mathematical models, methods, and techniques to solve real-world problems in fields like physics, engineering, and economics. Students learn to apply mathematical theories to practical problems, preparing them for careers in research, industry, and academia.
Can you predict when something goes viral? How do you model 5G? What happens in your brain when an epileptic seizure occurs? These questions all have one thing in common: mathematics is the way to come up with answers. In this 2 years master’s at the University of Twente (UT) you will apply mathematics to challenging issues in the most diverse sectors, ranging from technology to healthcare. You will learn how to discover new patterns and how to predict them through mathematical models. As a graduate, you will have an impact on society as well as be in huge demand on the job market.
