Description
The Bachelor of Music in Music Education program at Near East University is a comprehensive and innovative program that aims to equip students with the musical knowledge, pedagogical skills, and professional competencies necessary to become effective and inspiring music educators. The program is designed to provide students with a deep understanding of music theory, history, and performance practices, as well as the ability to design and implement engaging and student-centered music instruction.

Upon completion of the program, students will be able to:
- Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of music theory, history, and performance practices
- Design and implement effective music lessons and curricula
- Evaluate and reflect on their own teaching practices and musical knowledge
The program consists of a comprehensive curriculum that covers music theory, music history, music performance, and music education. Students will also participate in practical teaching experiences, ensemble performances, and research projects.
Graduates of the Bachelor of Music in Music Education program can pursue careers as music teachers in public and private schools, music instructors in private studios, and music directors in community organizations.

A copy of your High School Diploma (O LEVEL & A LEVEL) e.g (WAEC, NECO, SAT, KCSE, ZIMSEC, GCE)
A copy of your International passport Bio-data page.
A copy of your recent Passport Photo.
A valid copy of your Result Checker Card.
All applicants for undergraduate degree courses must possess a minimum qualification of five (5) credits, in the Senior Secondary School Certificate (WAEC, NECO, SAT, KCSE, ZIMSEC, GCE).

Higher Secondary Certificate Exam results ( for Pakistani, Indian and Bangladesh students)
WAEC/NECO Exam results (for Nigerian students)
GAOKAO Exam results (for Chinese students)
High School Diploma (for all other Overseas students)
If documents are in a language other than English or Turkish, official translation is required.
Language Proficiency
All new students must prove their language proficiency (English/Turkish depending on chosen program). Therefore, they will be required to sit for the Language Proficiency exam arranged by Near East University or provide the language proficiency certificate/proof in valid form in order to apply for the exemption.
