Description
The Bachelor of Arts in Psychological Counselling and Guidance program at Near East University is a comprehensive and interdisciplinary program that aims to equip students with the theoretical foundations, practical skills, and professional competencies necessary to provide effective psychological counselling and guidance services to individuals, groups, and communities. The program is designed to provide students with a deep understanding of human development, learning theories, counselling theories, and research-based best practices.
Program Objectives

- Develop students' practical skills and professional competencies in providing psychological counselling and guidance services
- Prepare students to become effective and reflective psychological counsellors and guidance professionals who can promote mental health, well-being, and personal growth

Program Structure
The program consists of a comprehensive curriculum that covers human development, learning theories, counselling theories, research methods, and practicum experiences. Students will also participate in fieldwork, research projects, and internship experiences.

Graduates of the Bachelor of Arts in Psychological Counselling and Guidance program can pursue careers as psychological counsellors, guidance professionals, mental health workers, and educators in public and private schools, universities, hospitals, clinics, and community organizations.

A valid copy of your Result Checker Card.
All applicants for undergraduate degree courses must possess a minimum qualification of five (5) credits, in the Senior Secondary School Certificate (WAEC, NECO, SAT, KCSE, ZIMSEC, GCE).

High School Diploma (for all other Overseas students)
If documents are in a language other than English or Turkish, official translation is required.
Language Proficiency
All new students must prove their language proficiency (English/Turkish depending on chosen program). Therefore, they will be required to sit for the Language Proficiency exam arranged by Near East University or provide the language proficiency certificate/proof in valid form in order to apply for the exemption.
