A candidate who previously benefited from a budgeted place is eligible for a fee-free place, to the extent that his/her admission average allows this, i.e. falls within the top 20% admission averages for the respective study program (specialization).

Since free places are offered as a percentage of total enrolled students, the minimum admission average required for a candidate to be eligible for a free place depends from year to year, depending on the candidates' averages, but it cannot be less than 8, according to the related Regulation. In general, from the experience of past years, tuition-free places rank above an admission average of 8.50.

Yes, to the first 10% of enrolled students ( up to a maximum of 1,000 euros). The scholarship amount will be refunded to the student. Full details here: https://www.rau.ro/scholarship-regulations/?lang=en .

The registration fee for organizing and conducting the admission is 100 lei for programs taught in Romanian, and 500 lei for programs taught in English. The fee is paid at the end of the online registration, from the admission platform. The following categories of candidates are exempt from paying the registration fee of 100 lei: Candidates whose parents are teachers or auxiliary staff in education, active or retired; Candidates orphaned by both parents, children from single-parent families or from institutionalized environments; People at risk of losing their ability to meet daily living needs due to illness, disability, poverty; and Children of URA employees.
