Description
The Political Science and Sociology degree program is designed to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of the social and political dynamics that shape our world. This interdisciplinary program combines the theoretical and empirical approaches of sociology and political science to explore the complex relationship between individuals, communities, and government institutions.
The program is structured to equip students with the knowledge and skills necessary to analyze and understand the social and political issues that affect our daily lives. Students will study topics such as social inequality, globalization, political behavior, social movements, power, and governance, among others.

It offers a broad range of elective courses in both disciplines, providing students with opportunities to explore various fields and subfields of political science and sociology.
Upon completion of the program, students will be prepared to pursue graduate studies or careers in a variety of fields such as government, law, education, public policy, research, and advocacy. All applicants for undergraduate degree courses must possess a minimum qualification of five (5) credits, in the Senior Secondary School Certificate (WAEC, NECO, SAT, KCSE, ZIMSEC, GCE).
