Description

The basic related aim of the degree course is to produce professionals in multilingual communication with a comprehensive knowledge of all areas to translation studies (civilisation, culture, politics, business, etc.), capable of producing quality translations in a range of registers and fields , and able to adapt effectively to rapid changes in the field generated by the significant increase in economic, social and cultural exchanges between Spain and other countries. The relevance of these studies is related to an expansion at all levels of international relations and increasing globalization in all fields. This reality demands a rapid and dynamic translation response in multilingual contexts, with the ultimate aim of contributing, together with other professionals, to translation and interpreting, the creation, correction and revision of texts, the location and management of terminological resources, language teaching, public relations and work in the media. Graduates in Translation and Interpreting may work as translators in the public or private sector.

Requirement

A copy of your High School Diploma (O LEVEL & A LEVEL) e.g (WAEC, NECO, SAT, KCSE, ZIMSEC, GCE)

A copy of your International passport Bio-data page.

A copy of your recent Passport Photo.

A valid copy of your Result Checker Card.

All applicants for undergraduate degree courses must possess a minimum qualification of five (5) credits, in the Senior Secondary School Certificate (WAEC, NECO, SAT, KCSE, ZIMSEC, GCE).

In order to be admitted to this degree, new students must possess previous knowledge of a B language corresponding to level B1 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages.
