Semester marks are being calculated by adding 50% of the midterm mark and 50% of the final mark.

Exams are being performed at the planned date, time and in the classrooms. Exams are Midterm, Final and Resit examinations. In exams, students will have optic form and tests but these are all up to faculty member of the class. So faculty members can make classic exam sometimes.

Associate degree and undergraduate program students who have graduated and have incomplete internships will do their compulsory internship (See: Framework Regulation on Applied Education in Higher Education article 13) face-to-face in the relevant workplaces.

Special student status allows a student to take courses from an equivalent diploma program at a different university than the one he/she is enrolled in and to count the credits of the courses he/she is successful in.

Istanbul Gelisim University has a tie up with the Erasmus programme which is the European Community Action Scheme for the Mobility of University. The programme encourages mobility of students from one European country to another. The University is also recognised Officially by the YÖK - Yüksekögretim Kurulu (YÖK - Council of Higher Education). The University has achieved formal accreditation of 63 programs successfully. The University makes a concerted effort to award meritorious and students with exceptional circumstances with a variety of scholarships, bursaries, grants and they also award food sponsorships to students.
