This course is run at the Institute of Vocational Education (Tsing Yi) in Hong Kong only. Our Hong Kong based BSc (Hons) Architectural Studies course will provide you with a comprehensive grounding in design and building technology.
Part art, part science, this cutting-edge degree provides you with a comprehensive grounding in design, theory, history and building technology.
This course will prepare you to progress to architectural practice and professional accreditation to a career in a related field. You’ll explore conservation, sustainability and environmental issues as you gain experience in all aspects of building design and construction, equipping you to meet the architectural challenges of a low-carbon future.
The course is fully validated by the Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA) for the exemption from RIBA Part 1 in the UK. The award is not prescribed by the Architects Registration Board (ARB) in the UK. The award title of the qualification is conferred to students of the Hong Kong programme only.
Requirement
Holders of a VTC Higher Diploma (HD) from one of the following programmes: HD in Architectural Design and Technology, HD in Architectural Studies, HD in Architectural Technology and Design
Applicants with HD or Associate Degree in an equivalent subject area (such as (a) Architectural Studies / Design, (b) Landscape Architecture, (c) Interior / Environmental Design, and (d) Exhibition / Stage / Furniture and Product Design) from a recognised tertiary education will be considered on a case-by-case basis.

A valid copy of your Result Checker Card.
All applicants for undergraduate degree courses must possess a minimum qualification of five (5) credits, in the Senior Secondary School Certificate (WAEC, NECO, SAT, KCSE, ZIMSEC, GCE).
