Quantum Physics

Quantum physics deals with the behaviour of particles and energy at the smallest scales, at the level of atoms and subatomic particles. In this specialisation, you will dive deeper into concepts like quantum computing, quantum sensors, quantum communication, and related phenomena, such as the Spin Hall effect, weak localisation and the Aharanov-Bohm effect: phenomena that seemingly cannot be explained in the context of classical physics.
