Description
Art history is the study of many forms of visual expression, both traditional artforms such as painting or sculpture and contemporary, emerging media. Such artworks can carry passionate expressions of identity, politics or gender. Interpreting and discussing visual arts can contribute to contemporary issues including social justice, reconciliation, environmental issues or globalization.
The general program offers general exposure to the humanities and social sciences and an opportunity to concentrate studies in at least two subject areas. This program is particularly suited to students who wish to seek employment or enter a professional academic program following graduation from Arts.
A student must complete 90 credit hours with a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.00 in all courses that comprise the major.
You can complete the BA General degree on a part-time basis.

All applicants for undergraduate degree courses must possess a minimum qualification of five (5) credits, in the Senior Secondary School Certificate (WAEC, NECO, SAT, KCSE, ZIMSEC, GCE).
