Description
About the Program
The Final International University Department of Interior Architecture was founded in 2020. Its undergraduate program leading to a Bachelor of Science honors degree is taught in English. The program has been proposed to educate professional conceptual thinkers and skilled interior architects, who have ethical and critical thinking standards, to be able to increase the awareness of society by considering cultural and environmental values. The program aims at fostering problem-solving ability and creating reliable designs in different dimensions through a systematic approach.
Program Aims and Outcomes
The Interior Architecture program challenges the students to rethink existing interiors as well as looking at the spaces created between structures. It focuses on the way people interact within these environments. In this program, students will learn how to renew and adapt real buildings and sites, as well as how to transform old commercial spaces into exciting new spaces for exhibitions, shopping, leisure, dining, and socializing. They will develop skills in drawing, computing, video-model scope, and computer-aided design (CAD).
They will also learn about visual communication, design cultures and heritage, and community and history. This solid foundation will enable students to establish their own personal style and design language, as well as become increasingly independent to undertake individual design projects as their self-confidence grows.
Career Opportunities
Graduates of the Interior Architecture program may function in a variety of design fields. They can collaborate with infrastructure architects to design the interior of offices. Graduates can also set up their own offices in the manufacturing, furniture, and retail industries, as well as in the design, marketing, and innovation units. Also, they can use their knowledge to preserve historical structures. Students will be able to design scenery and places of visual performance as part of their furniture and interior design programs, which will provide innovative design elements to highlight their work. There is also a possibility of an academic career in higher education institutions. Our graduates can pursue careers in the following fields:
*Interior architect
