About the Department
This master's degree responds to growing demand from companies and organizations that consider their human capital as their most valuable component. People management is a strategic issue directly linked to business results. The title has a substantial impact on the new business organization paradigm based on Social Responsibility, Sustainable Development Goals (2030 Agenda), and the Circular Economy management approach.
The program provides a global vision that enables attendees to work in any area of Social Responsibility, Labor Relations, or Human Resources. In addition, the comprehensive knowledge of the person and their ability to contribute the best of themselves – together with a set of specific Human Resources knowledge and techniques – make the student of our specialization master's degree a versatile professional prepared to occupy any position in an organization that requires effective and responsible management of people. This means complying with the obligations of the company in the legal field, but going further, contributing from the organization to the fulfillment of the Sustainable Development Goals.
The Master's Degree in Social Responsibility, Labor Relations and People Management of the UCAM trains to prepare CSR reports and non-financial information and diversity reports established by Law 11/2018, of December 28, on non-financial information and diversity. This legislation obliges large companies to submit non-financial information and diversity report along with their annual accounts. Companies with 250 workers or more will soon also be required.
Objectives
At the end of this master's degree, attendees will know and be experts in:*Develop business management from the framework of Social Responsibility (2030 Agenda and Sustainability Reports), Social Innovation, and respect for Human Rights.
*Apply labor regulations, occupational risk prevention, and Social Security, in order to achieve greater dynamism in employment, productivity, and satisfaction of Human Resources.
*Practice workforce planning methodologies, selection, evaluation, career development, and staff motivation in accordance with the strategic objectives of the company.
*Use the necessary management skills to improve the results of your team in any area of the company, professional performance, and the involvement of your collaborators.
*Have an overview of the main areas of Business Management, so that the people in charge of the areas of Social Responsibility, the Labor Relations Department, and People Management can contribute from their responsibility to the achievement of the strategic objectives of their organization.
