Structure
The Anesthesia Associate Degree Program at Cyprus West University spans 4 semesters, totaling 120 ECTS. Students need to maintain a minimum academic average of 2.00 out of 4 to graduate successfully. The program includes 2 summer internships and clinical practice programs in Anesthesia and Reanimation I and II during the last two semesters.
Summer internships take place in public or private health institutions offering anesthesia services in TRNC or TC. Clinical practices in the second-year fall and spring semesters are conducted in Famagusta, Nicosia, or Kyrenia State Hospitals through a partnership between Cyprus West University and TRNC Ministry of Health.
