About the Department

The professional exercise of the nurse implies a high level of scientific and clinical knowledge and a constant and close relationship with the users who are going to be cared for. Therefore, future nurses must possess not only the necessary knowledge but also scientific interest, great organizational capacity for work, and the ability and inclination to treat and care for people.

For students from other educational systems, other qualifications, based on age criteria, and work or professional experience, it is recommended for the Nursing Degree to have knowledge and skills similar to those required in the baccalaureate in the following subjects: Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics, and Biology.

Internship

Studying nursing at UCAM gives you the possibility of doing internships in public health and in different centers so that you can develop all the quality knowledge that you have acquired during your years in nursing.
