Requirement
- Developing Finnish language skills
- Completion of basic education or equivalent
- Meet health requirements ensuring the ability to study and work in the field safely
- Duolingo English Test - minimum of 85 points
- High School Certificate
Structure
The Care Assistant Training program at Riveria consists of two main components:
- Promoting growth and inclusion
- Promoting the inclusion of the elderly
Additionally, students will engage in:
- Finnish language studies (S2 language)
- Study skill support courses
- Work experience days
- Practical learning periods
Fees
Teaching is free of charge. Costs can come from study materials, work clothes and official fees.
A laptop is recommended for all Riveria students as a study tool. Students acquire a computer at their own expense.
